What will Hypnosis feel like?
You will feel very relaxed and remain conscious enough to be aware.
Is Hypnotherapy dangerous?
No. Providing you are working with a trained hypnotherapist.
Will I lose control when under hypnosis?
No. You cannot be hypnotised against your will and Hypnosis is not about control by the therapist. It is about the therapist and client working together so that the client can be empowered to create positive change in his or her life.
Will I be asleep when hypnotised?
No. Hypnosis is a very relaxed state but it is not sleep.
Will I be able to wake up and come out of Hypnosis?
Yes. Hypnosis is not about control. If you want to come out of hypnosis you simply choose to do so.
Will I give out secret information under hypnosis?
No. You cannot be forced to say or do anything under hypnosis that you don't want to. Remember that you are completely in control and empowered.
Will my information be shared with anyone else?
No. All sessions are private and confidential.
Will I remember what happened during hypnosis?
Yes and No. You will remember some things but not everything. It is similar to waking up from a dream or trying to remember day dreaming.
Can anyone be hypnotised?
Yes, some people are able to go into hypnosis more quickly and more deeply than others. Most people can go into at least light hypnosis and this is enough to benefit from hypnotherapy.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions depends on the indiviual and the type of problem being dealt with.
